Notice of utility rate adjustment, effective October 1, 2021
The City’s last utility rate adjustment was in 2010. Cedar Park City Council approved a rate adjustment at its July 22, 2021 meeting in order to help fund two large utility projects that will provide long-term capacity beyond 2040. The average residential bill will increase by $3.28, assuming 9,079 gallons of water usage and a winter wastewater average of 5,770 gallons. Base rates, which include the first 2,000 gallons of usage, will not increase.
